Simplicity Linux is put together by a very small team. There is me, David Purse who designs and works on the Operating System, Alejandra, my wife, who does a lot of the work on logos and some of our social media, and a friend of mine who isn’t into computers or Linux who sometimes helps us out on how easy to use the interface for Simplicity Linux is.
Simplicity Linux is based on Buster Dog, which is in turn based on Debian. It uses a lightweight Desktop, and comes in 4 versions – Mini which uses web based applications, Desktop which uses locally installed applications, Gaming which is designed for gamers, and X which is our experimental release. Releases come out every 3 months, with an Alpha and Beta release in between.
